Perfume Packaging Manufacturer

Perfume packaging manufacturer — rigid boxes, magnetic boxes, foil-stamped and embossed packaging. Label design, shrink-wrap, Amazon FNSKU. Responsibly-sourced paperboard.

Perfume packaging must achieve two opposing goals: it must protect fragile glass and volatile liquids through international logistics, while communicating luxury and brand identity on the retail shelf. The box is the architecture of the unboxing experience.

Fragrance & Fashion operates as an end-to-end perfume packaging manufacturer, coordinating structural and graphic design under one house director at our facility in Moriya, Ahmedabad. Working with the densest network of paperboard converters and printers in Gujarat, we deliver everything from standard mono-cartons to complex, multi-finish magnetic rigid boxes.

Packaging Types

The architecture of a perfume box defines its perceived value. We manufacture all standard formats for the fragrance industry:

Rigid Boxes (Base and Lid)

The industry standard for luxury perfumery. Constructed from thick, non-bending greyboard wrapped in printed or textured specialty paper.

The two-piece base and lid construction is the classic, secure, and premium choice. We also offer shoulder boxes, a two-piece design where the lid and base meet flush over an inner 'shoulder' collar, which are often used for high-end Extraits and niche collections.

Magnetic Closure Boxes

A hinged rigid box with concealed magnets. The audible 'snap' of the closure provides a tactile luxury cue. Often used for premium lines, gift sets, and presentation coffrets.

Drawer (Matchbox) Style

A rigid outer sleeve with an inner sliding tray, usually accessed via a ribbon pull. Provides a controlled, staged unboxing experience.

Folding Cartons (Corrugated)

Standard folding mono-cartons for mass-market, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and daily-use items like body mists and deodorants. Cost-effective and efficient to ship.

Finishing Techniques

If the box structure provides the architecture, the finish provides the character. We offer comprehensive print finishing applied to responsibly-sourced paperboard:

Foiling and Stamping

We employ hot foil stamping to apply metallic foils in gold, silver, rose gold, copper, or holographic finishes under pressure, providing a mirror-like metallic look for logos and accents. For complex, integrated metallic patterns, we utilize cold foiling techniques.

Tactile Finishes

Embossing and debossing involve raising or indenting the paper surface to create tactile logos or patterns without ink, known as blind embossing, or registered over printed artwork. We also offer soft-touch lamination, a velvety, matte film applied over the printed paper that provides a distinct, luxurious feel that resists fingerprints. Furthermore, rigid boxes can be wrapped in textured specialty papers, such as linen, leatherette, or woodgrain, before printing.

Coatings

Spot UV involves applying a high-gloss, slightly raised clear coating to specific areas like a logo over a matte background, creating a high-contrast effect. To define the overall sheen of the box, we apply matte and gloss lamination as protective films.

Inserts and Fitments

The insert holds the bottle securely within the box. It must pass drop tests while looking flawless upon opening.

EVA foam provides high-density support, die-cut to the exact profile of the bottle; it can be flocked with velvet or topped with a printed card collar, making it the most secure option for heavy glass. For eco-conscious brands looking to eliminate plastic, we offer die-cut card inserts, which are engineered folding card structures that perfectly suspend the bottle. We also provide vacuum-formed trays, which are plastic inserts moulded to the precise shape of the bottle.

Label and Print Design

Our structural and graphic design team handles label design, box artwork, and typography. A label must adhere securely to curved glass, resist alcohol, and remain legible for years.

We utilize a variety of label materials, including metallic films, textured papers, transparent synthetics, and water-resistant substrates. These labels can be enhanced with finishes such as foil stamping, spot UV, and embossing applied directly to the bottle label. Above all, we ensure total compliance, verifying that all artwork adheres to legal requirements for ingredient declarations, EU/UK allergen labelling, volume markers, and batch coding.

Marketplace-Ready Packaging

Selling on Amazon, Flipkart, or Shopify requires packaging engineered for e-commerce, not just the retail shelf.

For Amazon FBA, we generate, print, and apply Amazon FNSKU barcode labels to exact specifications. SKU barcoding, such as EAN and UPC codes, is integrated directly into the box artwork or applied as stickers. Every box is heat-shrink-wrapped to protect against scuffing during fulfilment and to provide tamper evidence. Our inner packaging is engineered for drop-test compliance to survive the e-commerce fulfilment network without breakage, and everything is packed into robust corrugated master cartons optimized for pallet dimensions.

Export-Compliant Packaging

For international clients, packaging must meet specific regulatory and transport requirements.

We hold UN-certified export packaging (certificate 00664), authorising us to pack and ship alcohol-based perfumes (Class 3 Flammable Liquids) by air and sea. Without this certification, exporting perfumes legally is impossible.

We also verify that box artwork includes all necessary symbols (Green Dot, PAO, flammable warnings) and multilingual ingredient declarations required for entry into the EU, UK, US, GCC, and other major markets.

Sustainability and Responsibly-Sourced Materials

We recognise the industry's shift toward sustainable packaging. For brands with eco-conscious positioning, we offer:

We incorporate responsibly-sourced and FSC-certified paperboard options throughout our production. We engineer mono-material boxes, replacing plastic foam inserts with die-cut card to improve recyclability. Additionally, we utilize recyclable finishes to replace non-recyclable laminations and implement lightweighting strategies to effectively reduce shipping emissions.

By integrating packaging manufacturing with our private label perfume manufacturing and bottle supply, Fragrance & Fashion ensures that the bottle fits the box perfectly, the label matches the foil, and the final product arrives intact and retail-ready.
